AND SO THE FLOWERS WENT WILD
At home in isolation, the wild flowers in our garden provided a fitting source of inspiration. Their colorful and unruly nature perfectly reflected my desire to be free once again, the emotional wilderness around me, and yet in all this a sense of hope, peace and calm.
Using both oil and acrylic paint, these compositions seem to capture a garden reality but upclose their expressionistic brush strokes and abstracted form offer something a little more rich. Click on each image to see more detail.
